Bunny Alber – A New Crochet Pattern

This Bunny just wanted to be created. I just took some wool and a crochet hook and it happened. I designed it on the go in just one quiet weekend. It’s all made out of single crochet stitch. Designed to be soft and hairy. Made with a DK Alpaca wool held together with a Silk Mohair for extra fluffiness. The eyes and mouth are embroidered and the result is a soft little friend to hug and keep close for extra happiness. The name Alber is a homage to the legendary fashion designer Alber Elbaz.

Level

This pattern is written step by step to make it easier for you to follow even if you are a beginner. You have to be familiar with the basic crochet stitches. I included step by step photos in the pattern and a few video tutorials that will help you along the making.

Size & Measurements

Length from top of head to bottom – Aprox 5.9″ (15 cm)

Bunny Alber as seen in the pictures was crocheted using a DK – Worsted Alpaca held together with ‘Knitting for Olive’ Silk Mohair. I also used quince & co Chickadee instead of the alpaca, held togehter with Silk Mohair. Feel free to try different yarns as you like. bunny alber crochet pattern
