I took pictures of some Spring flowers for you yesterday on our daily walk.
Spring is in full swing here in Israel these days. Usually I go out to enjoy our daily walks without my phone so I can’t take any pictures.
Yesterday E was going for a run and I had time alone on part of our walking route. I took my phone with me this time so I could play a podcast but I also wanted to take some pictures for you. It’s been a while since I last posted here. I thought to pop in today and share some of our local spring flowers. I hope these photos are a pleasure for you to see too.
In the last few weeks I’ve been busy creating a full video tutorial where I share how to knit a pair of the Keep Shinin socks, from start to finish. This huge job had me thinking a lot about how to manage my time better among all my other CrochetObjet knitting activities. Guess what, it is not always that easy and I have not yet come to the right answer. Therefore, I decided to allow myself the time needed to be invested in my new video tutorial and to enjoy the process. Without extra pressure that might make me lose my creative mojo.
¨
My new video is still a work in progress and I hope to have it uploaded to my YouTube channel soon. I have so much fun making it and I learn so much about video making and editing. It’s a long video that will include everything you need to know to be able to knit a pair of socks. From start to finish. Together with my two previous videos you will be able to knit a pair of the Keep Shinin socks. I hope it will make you feel like you have joined one of our weekly meetings here in my local studio. I wanted to create something that will feel like you learn with me in person.
¨
Many of you wrote to me that you would love to learn how to knit socks and I hope this one is going to help you with that. It makes my heart sing having so many of you in my new YouTube channel. A few days ago I reached 5k subscribers on my channel and I’m so thankful. Thank you so much for following me there and watching my videos. It means the world to me. I hope you enjoy Spring or whatever season you have in your end these days. Wishing you all a happy and relaxing weekend, xxMo

It is a dream of mine to learn to knit with you and to refine my crochet skills with you in person . . . a “some day dream”, so you can imagine how excited I am for your new videos. What a privilege it will be to learn with you via video, at least for now 😉 And it’s a socks video too, which I am so excited for since I cast on my first ever socks . . . and took off the needles and re-cast on, and took off, and cast back on again — you get my picture 🙂 The spring flowers are beautiful in Israel, some of which I have in my flower gardens here at home. Have a wonderful weekend, Mo. As always sending you hugs across the miles and over the “pond”. XO

Mo- I am always so happy to see I have an email from you. Thanks for sharing spring flowers with all of us. Love those socks. I think I am going to make a pair. The color is perfect, too. I look forward to always learning from you and making wonderful things I adore. Thank you so much.

Nothing better than a walk among beautiful flowers! Such brilliant colors! Our Sonoran Desert, here in Arizona is a blaze with wildflowers. Deep yellows, lavenders and fuchsia, thanks to lots of snow and rain this winter. The flowers always get my creative juices flowing! Thanks for sharing!
