In heavy preparations for October’s workshops, writing instructions, taking photos, re-crocheting, taking better pictures. Taking many close up photos of each and every detail, preparing a step by step, easy to follow, PDF patterns – for my workshop girls. At this point I’m almost ready, Just few more little things to do. I want to have it all done before we’re off to London in about a week, so when we’re back I don’t have much left for these upcoming workshops.193blogIt’s not just our vacation that is ahead of us, but the holidays season is almost here – starting at the beginning of next week. On Sunday evening we host a big Rosh Hashanah dinner here, at our home, 26 people, from both families. Can you believe it? we’re into so many plans and preparations. I couldn’t spend a minute and had to really be very precise with my time table the last week. But I have to say, I think it worked quite OK.  236blog I’m vary happy with these, step by step patterns, I wrote for my upcoming workshops. 3 Hebrew, PDF patterns are about to be ready and closed. It’s quite a lot of work to write a PDF pattern, but the result is so nice and easy to follow, and the girls are very happy to take it home after the workshop and to be able to continue working on it, outside the workshop.  Screen-Shot-2015-09-11-at-08.48.14And yes, I also wanted to pop in and let you know my Etsy shop will be CLOSED during our vacation :: September 17th to October 1st :: Please make sure you place your orders before September 17th :: If you thought of starting a new cotton project and planed to order some of my GrannyKit cotton colours, please take the time to organise your colour list and quantities. The last packages will be sent on September 18th.Screen-Shot-2015-09-11-at-08.57.03Or, if you plan to try any of my patterns, please note they will not be available at the shop during our vacation.
fabric-buttonsAnd these tiny little fabric buttons, have I told you already these are hand made, by Eyal’s father? He is 85 years old. He really loves to make them. Both him and myself are always in a hunt for pretty fabrics for these buttons. We use a lot of Liberty of London prints. Luckily I have his help with so many things on this little CrochetObjet factory. There’s always so much work to do here, at my little home business and he is always looking forward to keep his hands busy with something. Bless him. I have to take a photo of him, making these buttons. So, if you need some tiny yummy fabric buttons, put them on your list on time. Just make sure to place your order till September 17th so I can send it to you on the 18th, before I’m closing the shop.jetlofttoteJust wanted to show you one more thing before I go, remember this Loft/Jet diamond tote from last week?
